Crochet Collar Floral Dress

The small tone-on-tone piped yoke on the bodice supports the flat back and three reclining pleats on either side of the button placket and its natural mother-of-pearl buttons on the front. The four panels of the gathered skirt are mounted on a belt that structures the dress, which is fully lined in ecru cotton voile. Gathers at the top of the sleeves give fullness to the long sleeves, which are tightened by flat cuffs and then frilled at the wrists. The scalloped collar is hand-crocheted in a cotton yarn a shade darker than the background color. A dress whose skirt will turn many heads!
